About Us

Our Daughter Nova was born at 24 weeks weighing only 10.6 ounces. We were given less than a one percent chance of her survival due to her size and the breathing tube being too big to fit. We are now 5 months into our NICU journey but early on through my conversations with doctors, nurses and parents we realized just how fortunate we were to be in a NICU that was even equipped and staffed to try. There are only 150 to 160 facilities in the country that could have helped her and some states have no facilities that could. The more we looked the more I found that preemies have an uphill battle before the actual battle itself. My wife and I decided to turn our pain into purpose and the Nova Maye Foundation was born. Our goal is through research, training initives, and life saving equipment we can have more hospitals equipped and confident to help All infants who need treatment. We refuse to live in a world where geographical location determines life or death. Join us in our fight for the tiniest warriors.
